TELE me more about synthesizing...

This week in class we did a compare and contrast of the technology-enhanced learning environments that we have studied to date, along with their pedagogical approaches. I always love making compare and contrast charts, as I really think it helps me to reflect deeply on my learning. Take a look at my chart below, as well as my super-artistic (not!) drawing of my "hiearchy" of the TELEs as they relate to my practice.

How do TELEs work in Higher Ed?

For synthesizing the lessons that I learned regarding TELEs, I took a very specific approach to think about them in my own context in higher education. After all, the whole reason that I joined the MET program was to improve my own practice. What I have done is created my own compare and contrast chart. I liked elements of both Aaron's and Catriona's charts- for example, the "strengths" part as well as the pros and cons; however, I tried to look at these TELEs particularly through the lens of higher education.
